Doug Sprague resides in Pace, Florida and has been with West Florida Soccer Club, now Sporting West Florida, since 2018. He serves as Club President and provides long-term leadership for the club’s growth, structure, and culture, while remaining actively involved in coaching. Doug holds a USSF D License along with Grassroots coaching licenses in 7v7, 9v9, and 11v11, reinforcing the club’s commitment to consistent standards and player development across all age groups.

Levent “Louie” Sahin

Executive and Technical Director

Levent “Louie” Sahin resides in Pace, Florida and serves as the Executive and Technical Director for Sporting West Florida. He provides technical leadership and long-term direction for coaching standards, curriculum development, and player development across the club. Louie holds both a UEFA A License and a USSF National A License, along with advanced coaching credentials including the USSF National Youth Diploma, United Soccer Coaches Premier Diploma, and Director of Coaching Diploma.

Mary Murphy

Girls Director (U13–U19), Operations Director, Recreational Coordinator

Mary Murphy has been with West Florida Soccer Club, now Sporting West Florida, since August 2020 and resides in Pace, Florida. She serves in multiple leadership roles overseeing girls programming, club operations, and recreational coordination, while also supporting coaching education and development. Mary is the Head Coach of the Milton High School Girls Varsity Soccer Team and holds USSF C and D Licenses along with a Level III Goalkeeping Diploma.

Justin Bailey

Boys Director (U13–U19), Social Media Manager, Webmaster, Sponsorship Coordinator

Justin Bailey has been with West Florida Soccer Club, now Sporting West Florida, since 2018 and resides in Pace, Florida. He oversees the boys competitive program while supporting club marketing, communications, and sponsorship initiatives. Justin is also the Head Coach of the Milton High School Boys Varsity Soccer Team and holds USSF C and D Licenses, along with USSF Grassroots Licenses in 7v7, 9v9, and 11v11.

Alex Hetherington

Recreational Program Director of Operations, Academy Director, U11 Girls Head Coach


Coach Alex joined Sporting West Florida in 2026 and resides in Pace, Florida. She serves as the club's Recreational Program Director of Operations, Academy Director, and Head Coach of the U11 Girls team. A former Pace High School standout, Alex continued her playing career at the University of West Florida, where she was a member of the 2012 NCAA Division II National Championship team and helped lead the Argonauts to multiple conference championships and another national championship appearance.


Alex brings more than 12 years of coaching experience spanning the youth, high school, junior college, and NCAA Division II levels. She holds a USSF C License, USSF D License, USSF Grassroots License, USSF F License, the United Soccer Coaches Coaching Diploma, and a Master's Degree in Physical Education and Exercise Science, reflecting her commitment to developing players both on and off the field.

Nick Williamson

Coach, Competitive Program Coordinator


Nick Williamson has been with West Florida Soccer Club, now Sporting West Florida, since 2017 and resides in Pace, Florida. He serves as a coach and Competitive Program Coordinator, supporting team organization and competitive operations. Nick is also the Head Coach of the Pace High School Girls Varsity Soccer Team and holds a USSF D License along with USSF Grassroots Licenses in 7v7, 9v9, and 11v11.

Rob Longhurst

Coach


Coach Rob has been with West Florida Soccer Club, now Sporting West Florida, since 2023 and resides in Milton, Florida. He brings a wealth of coaching, player development, and performance training experience to the club and is committed to helping players build strong technical foundations while developing a lifelong love for the game.


Rob holds a USSF D License, US Soccer 11v11 Grassroots License, Soccer Coaching E-License, and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), along with several additional coaching and fitness certifications. His broad background allows him to integrate technical soccer instruction with athletic performance principles to help players reach their full potential.

David Cooper

David Cooper has been with West Florida Soccer Club, now Sporting West Florida, since 2019 and resides in Milton, Florida. He serves as a coach within the club and supports player development across multiple age groups. David holds USSF C and D Licenses, along with USSF Grassroots Licenses in 7v7, 9v9, and 11v11.

Jessica Brewster

Coach, Goalkeeper Coach


Jessica Brewster has been with West Florida Soccer Club, now Sporting West Florida, since 2020 and resides in Pace, Florida. She serves as a Goalkeeper Coach, supporting specialized training and development for goalkeepers. Jessica holds USSF Grassroots Licenses in 9v9 and 11v11.

Martin Mina

Martin Mina has been with West Florida Soccer Club, now Sporting West Florida, since 2017 and resides in Milton, Florida. He serves as a coach and brings a strong background in advanced coaching education. Martin holds a USSF D License, United Soccer Coaches National Diploma, United Soccer Coaches Advanced Regional Diploma, and USSF Grassroots Licenses in 7v7, 9v9, and 11v11.

Kiel Cannon

Kiel Cannon has been with West Florida Soccer Club, now Sporting West Florida, since 2023 and resides in Milton, Florida. He serves as a coach supporting player development across age groups. Kiel holds a USSF D License along with USSF Grassroots Licenses in 7v7, 9v9, and 11v11.

Rich Jernigan

Rich Jernigan has been with West Florida Soccer Club, now Sporting West Florida, since 2024 and resides in Pace, Florida. He serves as a recreational coach and holds a USSF Grassroots Certification.

Bryan Griffie

He serves as a coach within the club and is committed to creating a positive, challenging environment that helps players develop both on and off the field. Bryan is currently pursuing his USSF D License, continuing to grow his knowledge of the game and commitment to player development.

Caitlin Hoffman

Coach & Social Media Coordinator


Coach Caitlin joined Sporting West Florida in 2025 and resides in Pace, Florida. She is the creative force behind the club's social media presence, helping showcase our players, programs, and community. Be sure to like, follow, and share our content to help support the club.


In addition to her work in communications, Coach Caitlin serves on the coaching staff and is currently pursuing her USSF D License, continuing to grow her knowledge of the game and commitment to player development.

Robert Wejroch

Coach


Coach Robert joined Sporting West Florida in 2025 and resides in Milton, Florida. He serves as a coach within the club and is the Head JV Coach for the Milton High School Boys Soccer program.


A proud Milton Boys Soccer alumnus, Coach Robert continued his playing career at Huntingdon College before returning home to invest in the next generation of players. He is passionate about developing young athletes both on and off the field and is currently pursuing additional coaching certifications to further his growth as a coach.

Matt Crow

Matt Crow has been with West Florida Soccer Club, now Sporting West Florida, since 2017 and resides in Pace, Florida. He serves as a coach and brings extensive experience working with players at various stages of development. Matt holds USSF C and D Licenses, USSF Grassroots Licenses in 7v7, 9v9, and 11v11, as well as the Get aHEAD Safely in Soccer Diploma and the United Soccer Coaches High School Coaching Diploma.
